You can submit an online entry form and save postage, or click here for the printable version. Payment accepted by personal check, money order, cash, or PayPal. Proxy Fee: $15.00. Proxy entrants are not eligible for door prizes. Entry Limit: NONE! Each entrant will have a 7-foot table, so plan accordingly. Model sales and horse-trading are welcome! If you'd like to donate a prize, raffle item, or door prize, it'd be more than welcome! Full show results (and I mean FULL results, not just the NAN-qualified horses) will be mailed out after the show to each paid entrant. Usual Live Show Rules In Effect: No live animals, no bad language, no bad attitudes, no smoking or booze, etc., etc. Judging Order: Halter First, then Performance.
Lunch Break: 1 p.m. give or take an

like to bring a dish to pass, that'd be WONDERFUL!!! Otherwise, the

Show Tags - We Won't Be Using Them!!!! Instead, each model placed on the show table will require a 3"x5" index card placed beside it: on the side facing UP will be the model's breed and gender. On the side facing DOWN will be the model's name and owner's initials. Just like an oversized tag. The aim being as the judge places the class, she will remove the card from the horse, and place the cards in order in an envelope for each class, from which the results will be typed up! This will remove the TEDIOUS and time-consuming hand-writing of placings, something I'm sure entrants and judges with carpal tunnel sydrome will all appreciate!! Of course if your horse places in one class and needs to show in another, he/she will need ANOTHER index card for that class. Index cards WILL be available at the show for those who need extras. You may also put stringed tags on your model for identification purposes (highly recommended for OF Halter classes). |

|
Show-Backs for Championships: The first and second placing horse in each class will be called back for the divisional championship show-backs, so it is very important to keep track of your placings so you don't miss out! Each minor champion and reserve will then compete for the Overall Championships. NAN Cards: This show will be an official qualifier for the NAMHSA 2009/2010 North American Nationals (NAN), therefore the first and second placing horse in approved classes will receive a NAN card along with their ribbon. For more information on NAMHSA and the North American Nationals, visit their web site. |

The Show Hall is located approximately 6 miles west of the US-31/M-37 junction south of Traverse City. Drive west on US-31 to Interlochen Corners (junction of US-31 and M-137), turn south on M-137 and go one mile to Riley Road. Turn west on Riley, and about 2/10ths of a mile on the right is the Interlochen Public Library and the Golden Fellowship Hall. Please move your cars away from the main entrance after unpacking as a courtesy to the library patrons who may need to park closer to the door. |
|
Local Accommodations: . Check out the Traverse City Visitor's and Convention Bureau web site for a large list of hotels and motels. The Interlochen Motel is very close to the show hall and offer reasonable off-season rates. If you have any questions, please let me know! I'm looking forward to hosting this show once again, and hope to see y'all there!
